Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified School Nurse in Santa Fe, New Mexico to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to promoting the health and well-being of our students and providing quality healthcare services within the school setting.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students and staff members as needed
• Conduct health assessments and screenings to identify student health concerns
• Develop and implement individualized health care plans for students with chronic health conditions
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and school policies
• Monitor immunization compliance and maintain accurate health records for all students
• Educate students, staff, and families about health-related topics and preventive measures
• Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and community healthcare providers to promote a healthy school environment
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
• Current RN license in the state of New Mexico
• Certification as a School Nurse or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe
• Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
