We are pleased to announce a full-time job opening for a Sign Language Interpreter to provide 1:1 services to a High School student. The ideal candidate will provide interpretation services to facilitate communication for this student for the school year. Previous experience in this role is a plus. Job Type:

• Hours: 9:05am-4:05pm daily, Monday-Friday; Must report when student is in session

Job Details:

• 1:1 setting with High School student
• Provide interpretation and translation services between spoken English and American Sign Language (ASL) for a high school student
• Collaborate with the DHH teacher to assist in facilitating communication in educational settings
• Work closely with the student on a 1:1 basis to support their understanding and engagement in classroom activities
Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for the student to facilitate their social and academic integration

Requirements:

• Certification: Must have an EIPA score of 3.5
• Fluency in ASL required
Pay Range: $27 - $30 per hour
