The Yard Supervisor is responsible for directing timely responses to requests for confirmation of the availability of inventory from sales and operations. Essential duties of the role are verifying request documents, determining priorities, assigning work, developing procedures, determining storage space requirements, and updating records. The Yard Supervisor should demonstrate supply chain management expertise, supervisory skills, communication and interpersonal abilities, attention to details, teamwork, and time management.

• Direct and manage delivered supplies, materials, and equipment; confirm goods match purchase order specifics.
• Oversee and direct routine cycle counts and bi-annual physical inventory count
• Manage the physical of all incoming equipment in and in the system.
• Load/Unload trucks utilizing RF scanners and computers to track and locate inventory and pull customer orders of various sizes.
• Set up online spreadsheets to accurately track all shipments.
• Prepare all paperwork for orders.
• Participate in RF inventory scanning.
• Keep areas clean and organized
• Adopt best practices.
• Visual QC of units in yard.
• Ensure Safety is the priority.
• Crosstrain employees
• Ensure ALL processes are strictly followed according to the SOP’s.

• Previous lead or management experience required.
• 2-3 Years experience in the manufacturing environment.
• Experience with various types of manufacturing machinery and tools.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the proven ability to work well with all levels of management and staff.
• High School Diploma required.
