Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Window Field Technician / Project Manager to join our team.

Responsible for excellent customer service, knowledge, and resolution for all customers when measuring new projects and servicing any projects (during or after installations). Meets with customers to review projects and agree on the scope of work before the job is processed. Works in the field and in the office as needed to ensure all projects are measured, and addendums/floor plans are completed accurately. Responsible for attaining a signed NOC from each new customer. Perform service work and cap and cover as required for previous customers. Works to provide the best customer experience of residential Window, Tex-cote, and Entry Door systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately measures all window and doors sizes and TexCote projects for finished production ready sized measurements as required.
  • Completes Windows, Texcote, and Entry Door order forms.
  • Performs Lead Test.
  • Is a Notary and obtains Notice of Commencements @ measure.
  • Determine installation processes for windows and doors. Write up additional installation instructions and materials needed for scope and job costs as needed.
  • Responsible for pictures for all projects. Interior and exterior pictures of each opening and pictures of measurements, when possible, for width and height. Upload it to database.
  • Thoroughly review contract, color, sizes, materials, styles, operation, types of glass, grids, and other as needed information with homeowner.
  • Discuss any required changes with the customer and complete change orders as needed.
  • Complete Par forms for production including any additional material or labor fees.
  • Turn in production ready paperwork with all issues resolved to order department.
  • Responsible for Quality Inspections for In Progress and Post Installation
  • Take pictures and upload to company cam.
  • Walk jobs that are “in progress and complete” and hold install crews to company standards.
  • Review the order with the customer and have them sign a Completion Certificate.
  • Filling out inspection forms and upload in LP
  • Performs services as needed including : Caps and Cover after final inspection, as well as any “punch items”
  • Assists in warehouse in loading and staging all products as needed

Qualifications:

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in all forms. Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to interpret and offer solutions to problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma and three years related experience and training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Successful completion of Sunbelt training including Tex Cote and EAS training.

Computer Skills:

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Internet functions is required; accounting and construction software packages are preferred.

Language Skills:

Bi-Lingual A . Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to customers, vendors, and managers via phone.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and listen while using hands to type. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to ninety (60) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Prosthetic or mechanical substitutes for many of the above tasks are acceptable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
