The Chocolate Foundry Cashier greets customers and guests as they enter the Chocolate Foundry and processes product payments. Shifts are part-time, 12 p.m. - 8 p.m. and 2 p.m. - 10 p.m.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain a professional appearance, including mannerisms.
• Ensure cleanliness of all guest areas as well as employee areas.
• Clean and organize associated work areas.
• Ensure all supplies are stocked, notifying the Manager of any running low supplies.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
• Ensure that totals are in balance.
• Count Funds in the cash register at the beginning and end of the shift.
• Account for and correct any discrepancies.
• Seek council from management as needed.
• Process guest payments for goods.
• Place cash, checks and credit card receipts into the cash register and make changes when appropriate.
• Ensure that all payments and/or charges are credited and/or debited to the proper rooms or other accounts, i.e., mountain supervisor meals, employee meals, and room charges.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
• Other duties as assigned include ensuring our excellent service and commitment to 100% guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods.
• While performing this job, the employee must walk, use hands, feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear.
• Must safely move objects up to approximately 45 pounds about the workplace.
