Job Description

  • Looking for a candidate with strong customer service skills and a mailing / postal background
  • Eagerness to learn in a hectic environment.
  • Basic Microsoft office skills, outlook, word and excel.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Assisting in production from time to time as a part of their training to understand how the business works and how their role as order processors effects and flows into production
  • The Order Processor is responsible for editing and entering multiple product lines in the system.
  • This includes interacting with internal and external customers to resolve order related questions or inquiries.
  • Edit (the careful process of reviewing orders submitted by sales representatives for completeness and entering those orders into the data system) orders.
  • Prioritize orders according to ship date requests or any identified special considerations.
  • Verify sample and order specifications, extension of price, assign commission rate, and assign appropriate ship or proof date according to service schedule.
  • Proof own work to identify errors or omissions.
  • Select supplier / vendors and prepare / process purchase order for special stock and mill direct orders;
  • email, fax, or mail purchase orders as necessary.
  • Research / and resolve missing / incorrect specifications pertaining to orders;
  • Including but not limited to contacting the sales representative or internal customer for clarification, researching dead files, etc.
  • Request any required artwork from digital prep department and forward along with the purchase order for the production of mill jobs.
  • Edit and enter open price orders after obtaining a quote from the Estimator.
  • Use company specific resources for applying pricing and entering orders.
  • Interact with the Sales Representative, vendors, and others to resolve work-related questions or inquiries.
