Sun State International Trucks is seeking an experienced Fabricator at our Aftermarket location in Tampa, FL.

Required Education, Licenses, and Skills:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1-3 years of Mechanical Experience
• 1-3 years of Welding Experience
• Aptitude for Mechanical Tasks
• Ability to Work Independently with Limited Supervision
• Able to Meet the Physical Requirements of the Position

Fabricator Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Complete Accurate and Quality Repairs in a Timely Manner
• Properly use a Welding Torch to Assemble Equipment
• Read and Understand Measurements
• Correctly use a Frame Drill and Tools to Assemble and Install Equipment
• Communicate with the Parts Department and Quality Control Departments
• Communicate Status of Repairs within the Department

Physical Requirements:

• The physical activity while performing the duties of this job regularly require the employee to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, talk, hear or see, stoop, crouch and kneel.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
• The employee must have manual dexterity sufficient to work with hands and fingers
• Visual requirements include, close vision and ability to adjust focus
• Well lighted area with constant exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
