Job Overview:
We are seeking a Sheet Metal Fabricator to join the Sun Kool team with a minimum of 6 months experience and a willingness to learn as an apprentice. As our Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for cutting, welding, and assembling metal components to create custom HVAC products. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.

Duties:

- Fabrication of A/C stands, nail plates, condenser clips and duct shrouds.
- Commercial duct work.
- Use hand tools and power tools to shape and assemble metal components
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project requirements
- Operate a press brake machine to bend metal sheets into desired shapes
- Use calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precise dimensions
- Lift and move heavy materials using cranes or other equipment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar role
- Experience in plasma cutting, welding, and blueprint reading
- Familiarity with operating a press brake machine and using calipers
- Strong knowledge of different welding techniques, including stick welding
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as required
