The responsibilities of a concierge will range widely based on the needs of the property being served. Concierge's are
expected to be flexible and accommodating.
A successful concierge needs to demonstrate specific skills. Most will need some post secondary education, often in the
hospitality and tourism industry although it is not required. In addition, a successful concierge will have good problem solving
skills. Good organizational skills are also necessary to succeed in this type of job. Communication skills are essential since the
professional needs to communicate with guests clearly. Having the ability to speak a second language can also be helpful.
Sun Concierge & Staffing concierge staff are professionals who anticipate the needs of our clients/residents and execute all
requests effectively and with the highest level of competency. Our concierge staff are leaders of creating

The Concierge must perform the following tasks to the highest of standards:

• Flexible hours available, long hours sometimes required
• Flexible service locations
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work with minimal breaks if necessary
• Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
• Must have good level of physical fitness
• Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills to include the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel as well as the ability to learn new applications
• Proven organizational skills
• Neat and clean appearance. Must wear standard uniform while on duty.

Requirements

• Provide each resident and visitor with a professional and courteous greeting and outstanding guest service.
• Approach all encounters with clients/residents, guests and fellow employees in a gracious, attentive, courteous and service-oriented manner.
• Conduct all business with integrity and in a professional manner at all times.
• Take part in keeping your location safe and friendly.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients/residents and visitors.
• Maintain high standards of professional appearance and grooming, which include wearing proper attire (uniform) and name tag when working.
• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Successfully complete a criminal background investigation and drug screening where required.
