Job Overview:
We are seeking an on-site skilled IT Technician to join our team. As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our employees. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the functionality and efficiency of our computer systems and all networks and programs. A wide range of IT experiance will be best suited for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users
- Provide technical support for network connectivity or related network issues
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of LAN/WAN networks
- Analyze system logs and identify potential issues
- Collaborate with team members to implement solutions for IT-related problems
- Maintain inventory of equipment and software licenses
- Assist with the deployment of software updates using SCCM or similar tools
- Ensure compliance with company policies and security standards
- Provide excellent customer service and support to end-users
Skills:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques
- Proficiency in software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, and other networking concepts
- Experience in desktop support or help desk roles
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
