Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse Manager to oversee and coordinate patient care delivery in our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of nurses and mental health technicians, ensuring high-quality patient care, and implementing effective nursing practices.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise nursing staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement nursing care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Monitor patient progress and medical records to ensure accurate documentation
- Provide direct patient care as needed, including critical care, catheter care, and family planning services
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
- Implement infection control protocols and emergency response procedures
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license
- Minimum of 1 year in a behavioral health setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate nursing staff
- BLS certification and expertise in basic life support techniques
