We are seeking a Material Handler/Forklift Operator for our client located in Tualatin. Our client specializes in producing a wide range of abrasive materials used in various industries, including semiconductor manufacturing, electronics, automotive, optics, and metalworking.

Overview: As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment, such as clamp trucks, order pickers, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks. You will play a crucial role by efficiently moving and organizing materials and products.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to move, stack, and organize materials within the warehouse
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts or other designated equipment
- Perform routine inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance or repair needs
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and ensure accurate product placement
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and meet production goals

Experience:
- Proven experience operating forklifts or other heavy equipment in a warehouse or distribution center setting
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage orders
- Familiarity with order picking processes and techniques
- Ability to operate clamp trucks, order pickers, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other related equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Schedule: 9/80 compressed. Monday – Thursday 9 hours (7am-4:30pm) / 1st Friday off 7am-3:30pm, 2nd Friday off
