We offer: High level CBT training Supervision with a senior certified CBT therapist Weekly case conferences Training to meet certification of the Academy of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Collaborative working relationship with referring oncology physicians, nurses and specialists $1,500 annually for continuing education training Reimbursement for professional organizations and licensure renewal fees Year-end bonus potential Summit Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Consultant to provide in-person and virtual assessments, interventions, and navigation to an adult oncology patient population. The candidate will become part of a team consisting of physicians, nurses, behavioral health clinicians and psychiatrists focused on intervention with patients and support to our oncology medical staff. The position will be physically located in Berkeley Heights, NJ but hybrid will be considered. Candidates must be able to assess as well as intervene with patients in the office and virtually, provide individual, family and group treatment in the oncology environment, conduct daily physician and patients rounds, provide effective curbside consultations in exam rooms, offer chair-side “sessions” during chemotherapy treatment, provide phone assessments and follow-up, offer educational programs, work collaboratively with referring physicians and staff, educate oncology team members on workflows to access team services, and provide referral resources as needed.
