TITLE: LOAD OUT/SCALE OPERATORAUXVASSE, MISSOURI 65231CompensationHourly Rate: $ 20 - $25 per hour
SummarySeeking Individual to perform various duties around an aggregate quarry plant facility. The role is crucial in quarrying operations. The position will be primarily responsible for operating a wheel loader with scale to load aggregates into various transport equipment and vehicles. The position will also transport raw and processed aggregate from the pit to the plant and to stockpiles in a safe and efficient manner while observing all safety, health and environmental rules and practices. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Assist plant manager with the daily operations and upkeep of the plant.
  • Maintain and operate plant equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Perform a pre-trip inspection of equipment and report any defects to the Plant Manager.
  • Drive equipment to pit/stockpile and position equipment for loading.
  • Drive equipment to primary crusher/stockpile and dump material into the primary crusher/on the
stockpile.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive work.
  • Ability to access all areas of the plant to perform necessary maintenance and repairs.
  • Responsible for operating truck scale ensuring that all incoming and outgoing trucks are weighed accurately.
  • Arrange customer deliveries with specified trucking manager.
  • Directs Truck Drivers in the distribution of their loads and directs them to the correct locations.
  • Responsible for maintaining various office/departmental reports and logs as assigned.
  • Responsible for keeping the supervisor informed of all incoming trucks and traffic flow.
  • Ensures all paperwork (weight tickets, control forms, trucking invoices, and billing of lading) are signed and
completed.
  • Duties also include the organization of filing and distribution of the paperwork received at the site.
  • Collects established fees for cash sales.
  • Maintain scale house and keep grounds clean/organized according to company 5S programDetect safety
hazards and equipment malfunctions and respond accordingly.
  • Ability to follow directions.
  • Must be willing to work evenings and weekends when necessary.
  • Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers and supervisors.
  • Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in MSHA policies and procedures
manual, and OSHA guidelines.
  • Position assists with plant repairs, breakdowns, etc.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Front End Loader and Skid Steer experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of welding and general mechanics preferred.
  • High school education or GED equivalent.

Work Environment:While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in outside weather conditions and is
exposed to airborne particles. The employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in
the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
