COMPENSATION: Market Value – Pay Dependent Upon Experience

SUMMARY

We are seeking a Stationary Equipment Maintenance Crane Operator/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining the maintenance crews boom truck while assisting with maintenance crew as a laborer. The successful candidate will ensure that boom truck is run safely and effectively while contributing to the maintenance team wherever they need additional labor. Your expertise in operating cranes and possessing a Class A CDL will be highly valuable in this role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proven experience as a Mobile Crane Operator, preferably in an industrial or construction environment.
  • Possession of a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Demonstrated experience operating cranes, ensuring safety and precision assist in equipment installation, removal, and relocation as required.
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance on assigned equipment to identify and address potential issues before they become critical.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems and malfunctions
  • Possesses problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
  • Ensure that all work is performed safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as applicable regulations and standards
  • Any other tasks assigned by supervisor to ensure safe, efficient, and productive solutions for the crew and all Boxley locations the team supports

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification(s)
  • Class A Commercial Driver s License [CDL] required
  • Possess and maintain a company approved motor vehicle record [MVR]
  • Preferred minimum of 2 years of experience in crane operator experience
  • Strong ability to work effectively with others when communicating and problem solving.
  • Ability to safely stand for long periods, stoop, bend, and lift / carry up to 100lbs, with support.
  • Vision requirements include reading numbers and observing details within the work environment.

Applicants must be 21 years of age to drive a commercial vehicle and 20 years of age for all other vehicles; valid driver's license and company approved driving record is required if authorized to drive either a company or personal vehicle for business purposes.
