We are looking for caregivers that are dedicated to help and care for our patients, and as a team, bring together excellent care for those in need.

If you don’t have an HHA or PCA certification, don’t worry. We are affiliated with schools in the Bronx and Queens that can help you get certified.

Caregiver responsibilities:

  • Daily personal care such as bathing, grocery shopping, oral care, cooking meals, etc.
  • Assist and provide help with the daily living activities per the Plan of Care
  • Track your patient’s condition and/or report to the agency if there is something unusual
  • Assist patient with daily meals 
  • Basic housekeeping functions
  • Accompany patient to doctor’s appointments
  • Assist with essential errands
  • Communicate with Summit regarding any issue that your patient might have
  • Follow agency’s policies

Caregiver requirements:

  • New York Home Health Aide Certificate or Personal Care Assistant Certificate
  • Government issued ID
  • Social Security Card
  • Work permit, if needed
  • 2 Reference letters
  • Recent physical
  • Quantiferon 
  • Rubella and Rubeola lab work
  • Chain of Custody Drug Screen, no older than 6 months
  • Flu vaccine
