Summit Fire & Security is Hiring a Fire Suppression Technician Near Las Vegas, NV

We are currently seeking Fire Suppression Technicians to join our team.

Essential Functions

Service, maintenance, repair, and installation of pre-engineered fire suppression systems, portable fire extinguishers, exit/emergency lights, and additional fire protection/life safety equipment as skills develop.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • mechanical skills including use of hand and power tools
  • Physical ability to lift 75 pounds, work overhead and on ladders, climb/maneuver
  • Ability to accurately complete electronic forms/documents
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to travel
  • Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, nights, and weekends
  • Ability to work independently, with a team, and report to management
  • Flexibility to work rotating on-call schedule
  • Ability to communicate professionally and technically with customers
  • Ability to sell new account services to existing and new customers on the route
  • Ability to maintain quotas as set forth by management
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Existing knowledge or acquire knowledge related to industry fire and construction codes
  • Ability to pass a drug test
  • Clean driving record

Experience

  • Relevant: 1 year experience (preferred)
  • Hands-on Tools: 1 year experience (preferred)
