Job Title: Fire Alarm Estimator

Summit Fire & Security is an expanding company with tremendous growth. With this tremendous growth comes tremendous opportunity! We are looking for an experienced security professional to mine Summit Fire & Security current customers for new sale opportunities as well as grow a new customer base that is parallel with our overall company growth vision.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop new customers.
• Bid on Fire Alarm projects with electrical contractors and end users.
• Walk through customer sites as needed to put together quotes.
• Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific sales targets and opportunities.
• Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.
• Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up metrics.
• Follow up on sales leads and referrals.
• Develop trusted customer relationships.
• Develop and maintain product knowledge.
• Capability to conduct training and remote support on various product lines as needed
• Prepare a variety of status reports, including sales call activities, follow-ups, and adherence to goals and objectives.
• Participate in marketing events, such as seminars and trade shows,

Skills:

• 5 years of commercial fire alarm sales
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• Industry knowledge: Fire Alarm, as well as project sales experience (Notifier experience a plus!)
• Excellent selling, negotiating, and closing skills with ability to build long term business relationships
• Ability to learn quickly, process high call volume, and think outside the box
• Strong work ethic; do what it takes to get the job done-approach, while maintaining high business ethical standards
• Strong customer service, organization, and multi-tasking abilities
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Self-motivated, able to work independently without close supervision, and have a team mentality
• Goal oriented
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to utilize CRM system for Quoting and activity tracking
