Under direction of the Director of National Accounts Operations Sales, the National Accounts Partner Network Specialist will be responsible for all functions of identifying, prospecting, qualifying, expanding, and on-going evaluation of the Partner Network.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Outlined below, as well as other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

  • As determined by SFNA customer requirements, identify & qualify prospective partners based on geographic location, industry skill set, inspection offering, service offering, installation offering, and other relevant customer requirements.
  • Obtain documentation to qualify partner to include partner qualification form, certificate of insurance coverage, pricing, employment, company history, and all other relevant information.
  • Maintain thorough qualification documents for use in the review of prospective and active Partner network. Make adjustments to qualification documents as required.
  • Retain record of all documents with active and prospective Partners. Documents to be posted to SFNA database and made available to appropriate SFNA NAC team members.
  • Maintain a summary file of all partners under agreement noting basic information for quick reference. Basic information would include points of contact, geographic coverage, skill sets, licensed equipment, pricing detail by type of service, and other relevant partner information to be available to and accessible by all members of the SFNA NAC Team.
  • Participate in the negotiation of final partner agreement within established parameters of Terms & Conditions, including price, payment terms, etc.
  • Act as the coordinator on behalf of SFNA with all partners as it relates to RFP partner alignment for all new national account customers.
  • Properly on-board and fully communicate new partner activity to all members of the NATIONAL ACCOUNT Team.
  • On recurring schedule, as determined by Director of National Accounts Operations Sales, execute an assessment of partner performance (Score Card).
  • Prepare a partner performance summary report for National Accounts Leadership review and potential escalation with respective partner. This is a collaborative effort that should be open to improvement input from our Partner Network.
  • On a routine basis, conduct personal visits with current and prospective partners providing input on performance specific to National Account expectations (for example, HD SLA performance). Follow an agenda designed to build strong relationships with our partners and a greater understanding of market conditions.
  • Manage all required travel according to Summit National Accounts travel policy. Pre-approve all trips with Director of National Accounts Operation Sales.
  • Attend and prepare for weekly meetings with Director of National Accounts Operation Sales providing updates on all areas of responsibility.
  • Participate in training designed to improve industry knowledge and overall skills required of the position.
  • Provide a problem-solving resource for all activities relating to the SFNA Partner Network.

Qualification Requirements

  • Qualified candidates must possess excellent computer skills, in particular Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power point). Customer oriented, available for customer and/or employee support 24-7.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and collaborate with internal and external parties.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Undergraduate degree preferred, High School diploma or GED required. Related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Sound working knowledge of personal computers, customer portals, data bases, word processing and spreadsheet programs.
  • Ability to speak and write clearly.
  • Able to complete fundamental financial and analytical calculations.

Travel Required

  • Willing to travel, including overnight stays. Travel based on need with an estimate of 15-20% of work schedule.
