Summit County Educational Service Center is Hiring a Long-Term Substitute - Preschool Intervention Specialist (Southeast Preschool Site) Near Cuyahoga Falls, OH

Position: Long Term Substitute - Preschool Intervention Specialist (Southeast Preschool Site)
Anticipated to cover leave in May 2024 and August-November 2024
Salary: $214.16/day
Qualifications and Possible Job Duties Include:

Bachelor’s Degree in Intervention Specialist required (Moderate/Intensive preferred)
Valid Ohio certificate/license required
Previous experience in working with students diagnosed with special needs preferred
Alternatives to the above as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
Work effectively with children diagnosed with special needs and behavior challenges in an alternative educational program
Work effectively with a variety of related service personnel in providing educational programming to students diagnosed with ASD
Provides for individual differences through an individualized educational program that is evidenced in daily planning, class activities, and assessment goals
Provide appropriate educational activities and opportunities for children with a goal of enhancing their educational, social, and emotional growth
Maintains effective communication and collaboration with administration, district of residence, and families concerning matters related to students in the program
All other duties as assigned
