Position Overview:
The Project Manager /Financial Analyst role requires analytical, systems, project management, and process improvement skills. The role will assist with financial planning and budgeting processes, analyzing financial statements and reports, preparing projects, and performing research and analysis on special projects.While this role will primarily focus on projects within the Finance and Accounting spaces, they will interact with many other departments, so strong communication and diplomacy skills are required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owning testing, implementation, and enhancements to new and existing applications for finance and accounting in collaboration with all key stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage financial models, budgets, and forecasts to be used as decision-making tools.
  • Assist with the annual budgeting process.
  • Prepare detailed analyses of business financial results, variance to budget, and tracking to forecast on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Assist in the analysis of potential acquisitions and investments.
  • This role will drive accountability and visibility and help keep the momentum for progress on all Finance and Accounting projects.
  • Partner with operators to understand key business processes, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide implementation support for new applications through training and identification of outstanding issues post-implementation.
  • Provide project management support in various projects from initiation to close.
  • Facilitate, coordinate, and arbitrate cross-functional issues with key stakeholders.
  • Work effectively with the IT department to deliver collaborative solutions.
  • Create flow chart process mapping and other training documentation as necessary.
  • Coordinate all departments for dealership acquisition projects to ensure effective communication, contingency planning, and alignment.
  • Ensure accountability and visibility of progress on all finance and accounting projects.

Pay range: $97,000-$110,000 annually bonus. The pay rate will commensurate with your level of experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (finance or accounting preferred); advanced degree a plus)
  • 2 years of finance, consulting, or other relevant business/financial analyst work experience (financial planning, analysis, and modeling)
  • Strong working knowledge of Adaptive Workday
  • 3 year's experience with traditional waterfall project management
  • 3 years' experience as a business analyst/and or project manager
  • Experience with Visio, Monday.com preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and all levels of the company
  • Ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis, properly organizing and structuring financial models
  • Proven track record of producing successful outcomes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Must be highly flexible, learn quickly, and thrive in ambiguity
  • Exemplary written and oral com Ability to drive an independent workstream with an ownership mindset
  • Comfort with ambiguous, ever-changing situations
  • Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong communication skills to share recommendations with key stakeholders through verbal and written presentations

  • Expert proficiency in but not limited to Microsoft Excel and other financial technology and tools

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred
  • 1-3 years of accounting experience
