Summit Academy Independence is hiring a teacher for the English half our German Dual Language immersion program in 2nd Grade. We are looking for individuals who sincerely want to make a difference, value the experience of the individual over all else, and are looking to use their autonomy and creativity in the classroom. They would teach ELA and social studies while reinforcing the math and science taught in the target language.

Teacher supports include but are not limited to:

Instructors to help in the classroom and with small groups

Instructional coaches that can observe, give feedback, take date, and provide other supports

Mentor teachers to aid and guide new teachers

Full-time social workers on site to support students and staff

A Child-Find specialist and interventionists to help struggling students

Competitive salary based on verification of educator experience; offers Utah Retirement Systems.
