Adventure Trip Mental Health Counselor. The job is currently for the below weeks, with the opportunity to take online behavior coaching clients as needed for additional pay. Must have experience working with teens, experience with adventure activities or outdoor sports, and have a clean background.

Various trips from Sunday, March 10, 2024, to Saturday, April 20, 2024 and May 25-June 15, 2024.

Pay is $1,200/wk food for a licensed counselor bonus potential

Pay is $800/wk food for a non-licensed counselor bonus potential

Our ovenight Adventure Trips are for boys and girls ages 12-17, and young adults ages 18-21 who need to detox from screens while learning self-regulation skills to better manage their screen habits. We also work on developing goals, healthy routines, and positive self-esteem. Participants often have ADHD or other neurodivergent diagnoses.

We are looking for a person to assist with counseling and participate in adventure based activities including:

• Hiking
• Camping
• Surfing & bodyboarding
• Snorkeling
• Fishing
• Mountain biking
• Canoeing & kayaking

REQUIRED:

• Degree in psychology or social work.
• Previous experience working with teen population.
• Experience with neurodivergent populations (ADHD, autism)
• Experience with outdoors sports and/or adventure based activities.
