We are searching for a Registered Nurse- RN to join our team!

**$2,000 Sign On Bonus**'

Rate: $45- $55 per hour DOE

Full Time is preferred but will consider Part Time or Per Diem.

  • AM (6am-2:30pm) or PM shift (2:00pm-10:30pm).

Summerfield Post Acute Rehab is a preferred provider of POST ACUTE REHAB services in Santa Rosa, CA. This is the ideal position for those nurses who thrive in a fast paced environment and seek the challenge of caring for high acuity patients with complex medical needs. The patient population that we serve will allow you ample opportunities to sharpen your skills with things like IV's (starting and administering medications), wound care, PICC lines, etc, and it is our priority to remain focused on your learning and development in order to better prepare you for your future career ahead. This is not a sleepy, boring, and old nursing home that some might envision. We are a fast paced Post Acute Rehab facility with a robust therapy program that caters to patients needing strengthening and reconditioning before transitioning home after an inpatient hospital stay. Being a 56 bed facility our smaller size provides a more quaint and “home-like” family environment that allows for a more personalized approach to the delivery of patient care—an environment we feel plays a major role in the healing and speedy recovery of our patients. It also provides a unique opportunity for our staff to build a rapport with our patients and other staff alike that they otherwise would struggle to have in a larger facility. Recent renovations help us stand out amongst our competitors and we expect that you’ll notice right away when entering how clean and inviting our facility is.

THE RESOURCES

We have all right equipment, tools, and supplies you need to be successful because we know that this ultimately leads to better quality care for our patients. Unique to us is our on-site pharmacy ADU (automated dispensing unit) which makes timely accessibility and administration of medications a breeze. We’ve recently upgraded our technology (computers, printers, and fax machines, 2 way radios for communication, etc) and firmly believe that the right technology allows for greater efficiency and enhances the employee and patient experience. We even use a HIPPA compliant text messaging application that has streamlined our communication with physicians and management.

  • 1 Deficiency Health Inspection Survey – 1 of only a few facilities to have achieved such a result (CA average is 9.6 deficiencies).
  • Recognized in the top 10 out of 1,153 facilities for "Customer Satisfaction" by National Research Corporation (MyInnerview) who conducted resident satisfaction surveys on our behalf.

In addition, we have been awarded the prestigious Ensign Flag Award 4 times in the past 7 years. The award includes a $50,000 reward, half of which is distributed amongst our staff as a bonus, the other half goes towards equipment upgrades, facility renovations, etc. Furthermore, this award differentiates us from our competitors and demonstrates the uniqueness of the experience we provide for our patients and staff.
