Our healthcare facility in Houston is actively seeking a qualified applicant to fill the position of Patient Care Technician. As a Patient Care Technician, your primary responsibility will be to provide quality care to our patients under the supervision of registered nurses and other medical professionals. Duties and responsibilities:

• Assist patients with daily activities such as meals, hygiene, into and out of bed, and moving around the facility.
• Monitor and report changes in patients' health status to the appropriate medical professionals.
• Perform routine healthcare tasks such as collecting samples, taking vital signs, wound care, setup and operate medical equipment.
• Keep patient rooms tidy and sanitized.
• Support patients by listening to them, answering their questions, and ensuring they understand their treatments.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and policies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work with different health professionals in a collaborative manner.
• Physical stamina to perform the demands of the role.
• Current CPR certification.
• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• 18 years old or above
• Clean criminal history record required
