Responsibilities

• Administering electrocardiograms, stress tests, Holter monitoring, and other cardiac diagnostic tests on patients.
• Accurately interpreting EKG results, identifying irregular heart rhythms and reporting critical results to the medical team for immediate attention.
• Ensuring the comfortable and correct placement of electrodes and monitors on patients' bodies.
• Maintaining medical equipment, assuring cleanliness and functionality.
• Educating patients about test procedures to reduce anxiety and obtain cooperation.
• Timely completion of patient reports and database updates.
• Collaborating with medical staff providing accurate patient data.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Excellent patient care and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
• High School Diploma or GED Required
• 18 years of age or older
• Able to undergo a criminal background check
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
