Job Summary

Provides general administrative support for Purchasing & Estimating department, assists in the maintenance of costing and sales pricing information, and aides in the development of housing budgets.

Performs routine assigned tasks through the use of basic office skills in conjunction with direction from Purchasing Manager.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides general administrative support for costing department including routine processing of correspondence from rough or revised draft, data entry, preparation and/or maintenance of miscellaneous reports and vendor files.

• Assists costing team in verifying and compiling reporting and analysis.

• Responsible for managing new vendor applications, insurance verifications and onboard training.

• Must be adaptable and have the flexibility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with ability to coordinate several activities simultaneously.

• Processes subcontractor bids; reviews and analyzes monthly cost changes to provide and maintain accurate sales pricing and housing budgets.

• May assist Design Center in option structure, packaging, and presentation.

• Performs additional assignments as requested by supervisor.

• Self Starter / Able to work with minimal supervision.

• Assist Permitting Department with permits and start packages for the construction team

• Performs reporting of subcontractor use, material use and future outlooks
