Summary:
Supervises the Protective Services staff during shift. Implements changes and enhancements into staff. Assigns and monitors tasks and daily post orders. Monitors performance of staff, delivers performance feedback, and executes annual evaluations of officers. Recommends disciplinary action to supervisor when necessary. Serves as Protective Services Department point of contact for patients, visitors, and employees from other departments in the system.

Formal Education Required:
a. High School Diploma/GED
b. Associates Degree or equivalent Two (2) year degree minimum.

Experience & Training Required:
a. One (1) year supervisory experience
b. Completion of 160 hour OPOTC Private Police/Security Training or completion of OPOTC Basic Law Enforcement Training Academy
c. Two (2) years security or law enforcement experience
d. Proficiency with firearms and self defense tactics
e. Current OPOTC 20 hour Firearms certification
