Summary of Position:
Orders, maintains, and distributes inventory and assures its quality. Responsibility for analytical and procurement duties and interdepartmental transfers related to Pharmacy purchases for Summa Health System. Works directly with pharmacy technologies and counterparts in Summa Health System managed, owned and affiliated member hospitals, pharmacies, and clinics/alternate care facilities regarding inventory management. Responsible for the management of 340b drug discount program, including oversight of drug purchasing, inventory processes, dispensing patterns, monthly reporting on savings opportunities, split billing software maintenance, and all areas of program compliance including maintaining a state of audit readiness for HRSA and/or pharmaceutical manufacturer external audits. Works in conjunction with the pharmacy leadership team, collaborates with team to plan, organize and operate the department to achieve unit and organizational goals, meet customer needs and assure high quality services and products.
Minimum Qualifications:1. Formal Education Required:
a. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Experience & Training Required:
a. Three (3) years of experience in pharmacy inventory management. Hospital experience preferred.
b. National Pharmacy Technician Certification
c. Licensed as a pharmacy technician by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy
i. License can be applied for at the time of offer acceptance but employee may not start working independently until issuance of license.

a. Medium: Exerts 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force continuously to move objects
b. Standing and walking for extended periods of time; pushes, pulls, carries, and lifts light to medium loads
c. Exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and sharps; risks of falls, strains, contagious diseases, cuts from broken glass, needle punctures, etc.
