Job Description

Job Title: Inventory And Associate

Reports To: Chicago Production Manager

Location: Elk Grove Village, IL

Hours: Mon – Fri 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Summary 

Qualified candidates must possess a strong working knowledge of inventory control as well as warehousing operations with at least 2 years’ experience. 

Responsibilities

• Manage and update inventory in the various tracking systems (SAP based software).
• Perform regular inventory checks and maintain a record of product count across all departments.
• Prepare and maintain inventory reports and report findings to various departments.
• Coordinate and handle daily operations in a timely manner so that there is no down time in operations with regards to inventory maintenance.
• Identify and resolve any issues in the inventory management and processes; make recommendations to streamline the processes.
• Have a strong knowledge of warehouse operations and participate in the receiving of product within the warehouse.
• Distribute inventory as needed throughout the various departments.
• Coordinate with the administration team to meet customer service needs.
• Assist in the development of improving inventory management processes. 
• Check and process purchase invoices 
• Reviewing and placing orders for new supplies 
• Perform quality checks on incoming product and supplies as well as ensure accuracy in the receipt of the materials. 
• Return and replace any damaged products 
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.

• Must be able to communicate efficiently in English, both orally and in writing.

• Inventory count and control experience. 
• Warehouse Experience.
• Spreadsheet and ERP Experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 40-60 lbs on a daily basis

 Education/Experience/Credentials

High School or GED. Associate’s or equivalent preferred

• Ability to lift, push or pull light weight material occasionally (up to 60 pounds) from floor to chair/table and from one surface to another at approximately the same level.
• Good manual dexterity
• Use a keyboard and mouse, visually interact with personal computers.
• Duties involve occasional exposure to noise, dirt, odors, or similarly unpleasant surroundings.
