1. Review and improve the credit, AR policy and practices of the companies.
2. Meet the DSO objectives of the companies.
3. Perform ongoing risk reviews of current customers.
4. Manage investigations regarding the credit standing of new customers.
5. Approve/review customer credit limits in accordance with the company’s policies and practices.
6. Manage all collection activities and relationships with collections agencies.
7. Reports status of accounts receivable to management timely and clearly.
8. Perform determination of bad debt reserves, sales returns allowance.
9. Work with external financial audit regarding AR.
10. Interface with the sales and customer service organizations on customer credit and collections issues.
11. Support other SEI affiliates in credit.
12. Other duties and responsibilities as directed.

Requirements for Position

• College degree in finance or accounting, MBA preferred. Knowledge of credit and collections methods, bankruptcy law, letters of credit arrangements, UCC filings, escrow accounts, sales and use tax audits, computerized receivables and payables systems, and tools to reduce credit risk.
• Approximately 10 years of experience in finance, credit, or accounting.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Understanding of marketing programs and sales plans.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
