Job Title: Stockroom Clerk
Location: Orlando, FL 32804
Pay Rate: $18-20/hr. on W2
Major purpose:
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties, including shipping and receiving, kitting, stock pulls, PO receipts, stock purges, cycle counts, min/max maintenance and other duties related to warehouse maintenance.
· Provide customer service to various users of warehouse assets including work order closure, filling of back orders and researching transaction history.
· Responsible for the cleaning process prior to part/kit issue.
· Receive packages from several carriers on a daily basis.
· Ensure accuracy of the receipt by matching Stockroom receiving documentation vs. the packing slips.
· Assist in maintaining adequate inventory levels
Major Purpose:
· Assist employees at the stockroom counter.
· Pull kits to support manufacturing activities.
· Perform ongoing cycle counts and resolution of discrepancies.
· Maintain min/max on various hardware and supply items.
· Understand and follow stockroom processes and procedures.
· Visually inspect and count all incoming components.
· Ensure the components supplied, match the P.O. and packing slips.
· Ensure transactions into the SYSPRO system are accurate.
· Understand and apply the cleaning process as outlined in the procedures.
· Do shipping documentation for production and RMA units.
· Utilize various carriers to perform shipping functions (FedEx, UPS etc).
· Understand the implications of material shortages that may affect production.
· Create jobs for rework, RTV, purge or other special requirements.
· Resolve inventory transaction issues & kanban reconciliation.
· Other tasks as assigned by management.
Major functions:

Education/Experience/Licenses etc.:
· High School Diploma or GED.
· A Minimum of 3 years’ experience with warehouse duties.
· A Minimum of 3 years’ experience with inventory.
· A Minimum of 3 years’ experience with order pulling, shipping and receiving.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
· Previous experience with a Department of Defense (DoD) contractor.
Additional Job Requirements
· Maintain accurate receiving and issuing of parts from stockroom to production floor, to include.
· Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming items.
· Verifies the receipt of incoming parts and/or returns.
· Reviews Material Transfer (MT) requests for accuracy.
· Accurately receives and/or issues parts.
· Fills orders or issues supplies from stock.
· Maintain a neat and clean Stockroom.
· Accepts materials from Receiving Inspection and checks against paperwork to validate quantity, part number and description.
· Arranges storing of received materials in a neat and orderly manner onto shelves, racks, or specified floor locations.
· Determines the item identification and stock location. Stores items in bins, racks, or shelves, according to identifying part number.
· Prepares periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock. Makes inventory adjustments to items carried in stock, as necessary.
· Performs daily data entry on computer. Maintains computerized inventory records and documents all discrepancies and helps with complex part research.
· Coordinate workload and change priorities based on management, and interface and work with all functional groups.
· Helps develop and train less experienced personnel on team.
· Responsible for the accuracy of time charging on job performed and keeping his or her work area clean and well organized.
· Must use strong drive and ability to meet expectations under limited supervision.
· Performs other duties as assigned by Management.
· Experience in managing inventory.
· Knowledge of material handling procedures and Environmental Health and Safety requirements.
· Sound reasoning and decision-making ability; strong analytical skills.
· Must be able to interface with Engineering, Manufacturing, Contracts, Procurement, Quality, Administrative, and Management personnel.
· Good communication skills including the ability to listen to team members and work as a team member to meet program objectives.
· Proficient in use of personal computers with the ability to use MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
