We are connecting engineers, architects, and scientists, to provide efficient building design services, and we are looking for As-Built Building Plan Surveyors to join our network and assist our clients.

You will be a consultant providing services for Sumer Innovations and its clients. This is a perfect opportunity for self-employed professionals, business owners, and entrepreneurs.

Job description:

You will be connected with Sumer Innovations' clients and service providers locally to survey their buildings and prepare the CAD and PDF plans for the remote architects and engineers. You will also be connected with our global network of experts with whom you will collaborate on projects from multiple states and cities.

Summary of what you’ll do:

• Conducting surveys of existing building projects using cutting-edge technologies
• Providing as-built drawings in CAD and PDF for the remote team.
• Documentation of all findings for other engineers such as mechanical, structural and electrical systems.
• Meeting the clients on site and discussing their project needs
• Checking to make sure the project is on track and meets all requirements
• Working closely with Architects, Engineers, Contractors, and other personnel on the job to ensure the accuracy and to resolve any issues.
• Staying updated with the latest techniques. equipment, and software to enhance accuracy and efficiency

Education and Experience:

• Highschool diploma
• Associates Degree
• Bachelors Degree (preferred but not required)
• Certification (NSPS, CST, PLS, preferred but not required)
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Small and medium scale, multi-use project experience is required
• Residential and commercial experience is required
• Revit is highly preferred
• AutoCAD is required

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
