Job Description: Sumaria Systems is building an advanced analytic application for knowledge graph data in a network representation. As part of the development process, we need realistic models at various levels of complexity for verification and marketing. We have an exciting internship opportunity for students interested in gaining real world experience in data analysis and model building.

Required Skills:

The initial tasking will involve building a layered open-source knowledge graph of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA) satellite constellation. In collaboration with the Sumaria R&D team, interns will:

• Collect open-source information on the PWSA from websites and subject matter experts

• Begin model development of the existing tranche-0 constellation and build complexity by adding subsequent tranches using Neo4j or the Python NetworkX package

• Model the PWSA layers as sub-networks with well-defined communication paths

• Create vignettes to illustrate the application of the network

• Work closely with the Sumaria technical team to ensure compatibility with the analysis engine

Education: Interns should have a background or interest in STEM subject matter and an eagerness to learn real world data analysis concepts and associated software packages.
