We are looking for a detail-oriented Person to be responsible for all estimating for Construction and Maintenance work.

This can be a Part-time or Full-time position. And pay will be based on experience.

Estimator duties and responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions and recommend the right solutions. You should have a background in Construction or Maintenance and be able to promptly resolve customer questions and ensure maximum client satisfaction. To be successful as an Estimator you will need to be able to put in some time on a computer and should stay up to date with product features that maintain high standards of Construction and Maintenance. Ultimately, the Estimator is to achieve excellent customer service, keep track of all details, while consistently improving their relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent details and communication.
  • Assess customer's needs and provide assistance and information on product features and feasibility of projects.
  • Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas and work vehicle
  • Pro-Actively call and speak with customers to ensure details are covered.
  • Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
  • Process POS (point of sale) purchases via software
  • Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service
  • Build productive trust relationships with customers
  • Suggest ways to improve results (e.g. planning marketing activities, changing design, etc)

Skills

  • Proven work experience as a Construction worker, Maintenance Technician, Sales associate, Sales representative or similar role
  • Basic understanding of Construction principles and customer service practices
  • Proficiency in English
  • Basic Math skills required, advanced skills are prefferred.
  • Working knowledge of customer market and familiarity with inventory
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
  • Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
  • Availability to work flexible shifts
  • High school degree; BS degree in Marketing or related field would be a plus

Job Types: Temporary, Internship, Contract, Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $45.00 per hour
