Our company is looking for a Lowboy driver that is highly motivated and skilled. Bilingual in English and Spanish is perferred, but not required. This position will be based out of our Goldsboro location. The hauling of equipment will include NC and SC trips. Occasionally, equipment needs to be delivered or picked up in FLA.

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid North Carolina Commercial Class A License for at least 3 yrs with a tanker endorsement. Hazmat endorsement not required but preferred also.
• Must have current DOT medical card. Approved by our insurance company.
• Must pass drug test.
• Must be 25 yrs old and have excellent driving and safety performance rating.
• Experience hauling heavy equipment, i.e. excavators, dozers, graders, etc.
• Signed up on the FMCSA -Clearinghouse program.
• If bilingual, you must be able to speak, read and write proficently in English and Spanish.

Mandatory Responsibilities:

• Follow company operational procedures.
• Adhere to all safety requirements, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSA).
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection of vehicle. Any and all issues with vehicle are to be reported to supervisor immediately.
• Be able to load and chain down equipment and drive safely to designated site.
• Experience with transporting heavy equipment, i.e. excavator, dozer etc. from job site to job site.
• Ability to understand and follow daily work assignments.
• Reliable and trustworthy individual who wants to join our team.
