```Duties```
- Perform preliminary eye exams and tests, including measuring visual acuity, tonometry, and visual field testing
- Assist ophthalmologists in various procedures, such as eye surgeries and laser treatments
- Administer eye drops and medications as directed by the ophthalmologist
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patient information and treatment plans
- Provide patient education on eye care, contact lens use, and post-operative care
- Clean and maintain ophthalmic equipment and instruments
```Experience```
- Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of ophthalmic procedures, equipment, and terminology is a plus
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems (Epic) is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy
