As the Shopify Conversion/Optimization Expert for both our Direct to Consumer (DTC) and Wholesale (B2B) websites, you will play a critical role in maximizing the performance of our Shopify platforms to increase conversions, drive revenue, and enhance the overall customer experience. You will oversee the optimization efforts for both channels, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to achieve our business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Lead efforts to analyze website traffic and user behavior on both the DTC and B2B websites to identify opportunities for improving conversion rates. Implement A/B testing, user testing, and other optimization techniques to enhance key conversion metrics, such as click-through rates, add-to-cart rates, and checkout completion rates.
Website Design and User Experience (UX): Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, development, and marketing, to optimize the design and layout of both the DTC and B2B websites for maximum usability and engagement. Ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience across all devices and screen sizes.
Shopify App Integration: Evaluate, recommend, and implement Shopify apps and plugins to enhance site functionality, streamline operations, and improve the customer shopping experience for both DTC and B2B customers. Stay informed about new Shopify features and updates to leverage the platform's full potential.
Performance Analysis and Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to website performance, conversion rates, and revenue growth for both DTC and B2B channels. Generate regular reports and analytics dashboards to track progress, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Serve as the primary point of contact for technical issues related to the Shopify platforms for both DTC and B2B channels. Work closely with developers and third-party vendors to resolve any website issues or bugs in a timely manner.
Proven experience with Shopify ecommerce platform, including setup, customization, and optimization for both DTC and B2B channels.
Strong understanding of ecommerce best practices, conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques, and user experience (UX) design principles.
Proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for custom theme development and customization.
Experience with Shopify apps and plugins for enhancing site functionality and performance on both DTC and B2B websites.
Familiarity with web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, and experience in analyzing data to inform decision-making for both channels.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
