Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our team. As an Assistant Teacher, you will work closely with the lead teacher to provide a nurturing and educational environment for young children. Duties:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Provide support and supervision to students during classroom activities
- Assist with classroom management and behavior guidance
- Collaborate with the lead teacher in creating a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom space
- Support students with special needs, including those on the autism spectrum
- Assist with mealtime routines, diaper changes, and toilet training for toddlers
- Contribute to curriculum development by providing input and ideas based on your experience working with children

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Experience working with children, preferably in a classroom setting
- Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues, parents, and students
- Understanding of childhood development milestones and the ability to adapt teaching strategies accordingly
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children
