Maintenance A-Class / Helper A

Streeterville highrise condominium seeks Helper A janitor who will monitor, clean and maintain the building, common areas, recreational facilities and grounds as assigned. They will perform repairs to condominium units, such as those listed below.

The A-helper will need to:

• Familiar with household and industrial cleaning agents and chemicals and tools
• Able to perform emergency maintenance repairs to units, buildings and common areas as required
• Maintain the property to the highest possible standard of cleanliness

The Helper A will have an understanding of:

• Closed loop and cooling tower chemicals
• Other chemicals commonly used in residential complexes
• Safe operation of cleaning equipment, power tools, and hand tools

REPORTS TO: Assistant Engineer / Chief Engineer / Association Manager

EXPERIENCE NEEDED: Minimum of Three years of janitorial experience.

PERFORMANCE SKILLS And Responsibilities Include:

• Daily inspections of Mechanical Equipment/Understand maintenance of the building equipment & operating systems.
• Complete Service Request in condo units
• Strong Written and Communication Skills
• Respond Promptly and effectively to emergencies according to the procedure.
• Ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel and lift heavy items.
• Ability to maintain cleaning scheduled and procedures.

Schedule:

• Off Friday and Saturday (subject to change)
• Sunday through Thursday 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. (subject to change)
