Success On The Spectrum (SOS) is a national Autism Treatment franchise with a dedication to quality. We are opening our first Connecticut location in Shelton on May 13, 2024 and are looking for Behavior Technicians/Registered Behavior Technicians (BTs/RBTs) to join our team!

SOS offers Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in our nautically themed center. Our model encourages high parent involvement and allows parents to watch their child’s therapy live from our viewing room. Most RBTs at SOS work full-time. Within the center, teams typically rotate clients approximately every 90 minutes. Staff members get a performance review every six (6) months and Behavior Technicians have the opportunity to be promoted into Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, or a Trainer. There is a lot of opportunity for you to move up in the field.

SOS gives hands-on training to our Behavior Technicians/Registered Behavior Technicians. SOS will increase your ABA knowledge through our weekly team training and quarterly in-service training days. SOS will also pay for you to maintain your CPR certification as well as your QBS Safety Care Certification.

If you want to advance your career and advance in the ABA field, SOS can also help you become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)! Success On The Spectrum has obtained several national partnerships with universities around the country. Hourly, $19-$24/hour, based on experience

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Flexibility to take on additional tasks/responsibilities as needed
• Work in the center, Monday – Friday, 7:45am-4:15pm
• Directly implement Individualized Treatment Plans under the direction of BCBA
• Client material creation and preparation
• Incorporate sensory activities into the session (Arts/Crafts/Activities/Games)
• Record client data into software
• Convert appointments and write detailed SOAP notes
• Attend weekly team meetings with BCBA
• Attend Quarterly in-service trainings and team bonding activities
• Possible opportunity to work two times per week in client’s home, 4:30pm-6:30pm
• Some minor cleaning duties

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma
• No criminal background
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Able to lift at least 40 pounds, to sit on the floor, and to be physically active
