Responsibilities:
- Prepare sandwiches according to customer specifications and company recipes
- Operate the POS system to accurately input customer orders and process payments
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking their orders, and addressing any questions or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sandwich preparation area
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area
- Help with other tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the sandwich shop

Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role in the food industry is preferred
- Knowledge of retail math for cash handling and making change accurately
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating portion sizes
- Culinary knowledge and skills are a plus

Skills:
- Strong customer service skills to provide a positive experience for customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices to ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
