Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Sandwich Maker to join our team. As a Sandwich Maker, you will be responsible for preparing and assembling sandwiches according to customer preferences. This is a fast-paced position that requires attention to detail and excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities: - Prepare sandwiches according to customer orders, following established recipes and portion sizes - Ensure that all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and rotated - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area - Operate kitchen equipment such as slicers, grills, and ovens - Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register - Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing any concerns - Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area - Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of all food products - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order completion Qualifications: - Previous experience in food service or a similar role is preferred - Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner - Familiarity with POS systems, preferably Aloha POS - Knowledge of proper food handling techniques and food safety regulations - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team - Basic math skills for cash handling purposes Please note that all positions at our company are paid positions.
