Overview: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. As a Sandwich Maker, you will play a crucial role in creating delicious sandwiches and providing exceptional customer service. This position is perfect for individuals with a passion for food service and a desire to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties: - Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications - Ensure quality and freshness of ingredients used in sandwiches - Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any questions or concerns - Upsell additional menu items to enhance the customer experience - Operate the Aloha POS system to process orders and payments accurately - Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area, including equipment, utensils, and food preparation surfaces - Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper hygiene standards at all times - Assist with inventory management, including restocking ingredients and supplies as needed Skills: - Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner - Knowledge of retail math principles to accurately handle cash transactions and calculate change - Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient sandwich preparation during peak hours - Familiarity with the Aloha POS system or similar point-of-sale software is preferred but not required (training will be provided) - Basic knowledge of food service operations, including food handling, preparation, and sanitation practices - Passion for the restaurant industry and a willingness to learn and grow in a culinary environment Join our team as a Sandwich Maker and enjoy the benefits of working in a dynamic restaurant setting.
