Job Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable General Maintenance Technician to join our team. The General Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the proper functioning of our facilities. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities: - Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting and repairing equipment, machinery, and systems - Conduct regular inspections to identify any potential issues or areas that require maintenance - Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and tenants - Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanical systems - Fabricate and install various components using hand and power tools - Conduct basic welding tasks as needed - Supervise and coordinate with external contractors for major repairs or installations - Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment Qualifications: - Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role - Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, tenants, and contractors - Knowledge of electrical systems, including the ability to read schematics and work with logic controllers - Proficient in performing basic welding tasks - Solid mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills - Familiarity with using CMMS software for maintenance tracking preferred Benefits: - Competitive pay based on experience - Health insurance options available - Paid time off If you are a skilled General Maintenance Technician looking for a challenging opportunity with room for growth, we encourage you to apply.
