Overview:
Do you love coffee and working in a fun and artsy environment? We are currently seeking enthusiastic baristas to join our team! Pay starts at $13 an hour, plus tips! (averages to about $17-$19 an hour) Wage can vary based on experience.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages following company recipes
- Operate espresso machines and other coffee-making equipment
- Assist customers in choosing the right coffee based on their preferences
- Handle cash and operate the cash register
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Upsell products and promote special items
- Follow food safety procedures and ensure quality control standards are met
Preferred Experience (not required):
- Previous experience in food handling, food preparation, or food service
- Proficiency in POS systems for order processing
- Knowledge of coffee types, flavors, and preparation methods
- Latte Art knowledge is a plus
- Familiarity with Toast POS is a plus
- Understanding of food safety regulations and practices
