This newly created position will work cross functionally to lead the start-up of our new Cedar Rapids, IA facility.

We are seeking a motivated individual to provide technical leadership as we start up a new manufacturing facility. This individual will lead our efforts to equip and bring a full assembly line into production to build world class refrigeration products. This will involve working with a cross functional team to help layout the new assembly area and deliver equipment to ensure the product is built correctly and consistently. 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead the equipment planning and installation process, including reviewing design, procuring, installing, and debugging to ensure start up readiness.
• Train assembly and technical support staff on troubleshooting equipment and product issues and root cause evaluation.
• Engage with other team members on continuous improvement efforts including equipment optimization and innovating solutions for new applications.
• Develop procedures for calibration checks, adjustments, and preventive maintenance work on various test equipment.
• Coach, mentor, and develop Test Engineering personnel.
