- Prep steel plates and align jigs to receive plates from prep area.
- Utilize hand tools and torches to grind, weld, and drill materials for assembly.
- Keep all shop employees supplied with materials and assist in the manufacturing process.
- Must be able to take accurate measurements with a tape.
- Use both manual tools and automated devices to properly fit and assemble various materials.
- Perform quality inspection of materials and assembled parts.
- Able to operate a fork truck to move and place material.
- Perform daily housekeeping.
- Be able to work in various departments including paint, laydown and assembly.
- Must be able to tolerate ambient air temperatures during all times of the year.
