Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable Housekeeper to join our team who enjoys working with the elderly. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized environment for our residents. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will ensure that our residents have a comfortable and safe living enviornment.

Responsibilities:

- Clean and tidy resident rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors

- Ensure all bathrooms are sanitized and stocked with necessary supplies

- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners

- Restock towels, toiletries, and linens. Some laundry

- Maintain common areas, including hallways, dining rooms, resident gathering areas.

- Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed, such as carpet shampooing or window washing

- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines when using cleaning chemicals and equipment

- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel

- Adhere to housekeeping management policies and procedures

Skills:

- Previous experience in housekeeping preferred but not neccesary

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards

- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient completion of tasks

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

- Good communication skills to interact with residents and colleagues in a professional manner

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
