**Job Description:**

As a Custom Art and Picture Frame Shop Assistant at SFA Framing, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operations and ensuring the satisfaction of our customers. You will work closely with our team to assist in various aspects of the framing process, including mat cutting, frame joining, art installation, art delivery, art shipping, and more.

**Responsibilities:**

- Perform mat cutting and framing assembly according to customer specifications and quality standards.

- Assist customers with frame selection, offering recommendations and guidance based on their preferences and the characteristics of the artwork.

- Participate in art installation projects, both in-store and on-site at customer locations, ensuring proper placement and secure mounting.

- Coordinate art delivery and shipping logistics, including packaging artwork securely and arranging for timely delivery to customers or shipping to external destinations.

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including framing equipment, tools, and materials.

- Assist with inventory management, including restocking materials and supplies as needed.

- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the framing process.

- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm ideas and develop innovative framing solutions to meet customer needs.

**Qualifications:**

- Previous experience in custom framing REQUIRED.

- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship, with the ability to produce high-quality workmanship consistently.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks such as lifting, carrying, and maneuvering large pieces of artwork and framing materials.

- Basic knowledge of framing techniques, including mat cutting, frame joining, and mounting.

- Familiarity with art installation practices and tools preferred.

- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
